Het repertoire van deze uitvoering is samengesteld rond een overkoepelend thema, ‘Afterlife’. Het brengt muziek samen uit verschillende tradities – klassiek, populair, jazz en culturele muziek – en omvat teksten in meerdere talen.
Wij zijn ons ervan bewust dat in het huidige geopolitieke klimaat het horen van bepaalde talen of associaties met specifieke culturele contexten voor sommigen emotioneel belastend kan zijn. Wij willen deze gevoeligheid met zorg en respect erkennen.
De werken in dit programma zijn gekozen vanwege hun artistieke en muzikale bijdrage aan het thema. Zij zijn niet bedoeld om enige politieke ideologie of regime te vertegenwoordigen of te suggereren. Integendeel, dit programma is gevormd vanuit de overtuiging dat muziek grenzen overstijgt en begrip, empathie en verbondenheid tussen landen en culturen kan bevorderen.

The repertoire of this performance is curated around a unifying theme, “Afterlife.” It brings together music from different traditions - classical, popular, jazz, and cultural music - and includes texts in several languages.
We are aware that, in the current geopolitical climate, the sound of certain languages or associations with particular cultural contexts may be emotionally challenging for some. We wish to acknowledge this sensitivity with care and respect.
The works in this program were chosen for their artistic and musical contribution to the theme. They are not intended to represent or allude to any political ideology or regime. On the contrary, this program is shaped by the belief that music transcends borders and can foster understanding, empathy, and connection across nations and cultures.
